Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 4, 2026

We keep this simple: we collect what we need to run the service, we don't sell it, and we delete it on a fixed schedule. Here's the full picture.

1. What We Collect

Account information

When you sign up, we store your email address. That's it — no name, no phone number, nothing else unless you choose to provide it.

Photos you upload

The listing photos you upload are stored temporarily to generate your video. We do not use them to train AI models, serve ads, or for any purpose other than producing the video you asked for.

Generated videos

The videos we produce for you are stored in your account so you can download them. They are accessible only to you.

Billing information

We use Stripe to process payments. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles all of that. We only keep a reference to your Stripe customer ID so we can manage your subscription.

Usage data

We record how many videos you've generated per month to enforce plan limits. We may also collect basic technical logs (errors, request timestamps) to keep the service running.

2. File Retention

Uploaded photos, generated videos, and all associated project files are automatically deleted 90 days after the project was created, regardless of your plan. Once deleted, they cannot be recovered. See Section 8 for full details.

If you delete your account, all associated files are deleted within 30 days.

3. Third-Party Processors

Running ListJourney requires us to share certain data with trusted third-party services. Here's who they are and what they see:

SupabaseDatabase and authentication — stores your account, usage records, and generated videos.
StripePayment processing — handles all billing and card data. We never see your full card number.
OpenAIAI processing — your photos are sent to OpenAI to classify room types and select camera motions.
ReplicateVideo generation — your photos are sent to Replicate to generate cinematic video clips.
ResendTransactional email — used to send account-related emails such as sign-in links.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We choose partners with strong data practices, but we encourage you to review their policies if you have concerns.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We don't sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following situations:

  • Business partners: We may share your information with partners who help us provide specific features or services within the product.
  • Service providers: We share data with third-party vendors who operate on our behalf — such as infrastructure, analytics, or support tools. They are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority.

5. Your Right to Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@listjourney.com. We will delete your account, photos, and videos within 30 days of receiving your request.

Note: some minimal records (billing history, fraud prevention logs) may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@listjourney.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention

To manage storage costs and keep things tidy, we automatically delete project files 90 days after their creation date. This includes:

  • Original uploaded images
  • AI-transformed images and their version history
  • Generated videos and their version history

If you need to keep your files longer, download them before the 90-day window closes. You can download from the My Projects section of your dashboard.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any meaningful changes by email before they take effect, and by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
